Learn how to activate and manage MCP server registries to access hundreds of community and custom MCP servers.
Registry Management: Pylee registries allow you to organize and share collections of MCP servers across your team. You can create separate registries for different projects or environments.
A registry in Pylee is a collection of MCP servers that can be shared and managed as a unit. Think of it as a curated list of tools that your team has approved and configured for specific use cases.
Pre-configured MCP servers from Anthropic and the community
Your organization’s custom MCP servers and configurations
Access Pylee Dashboard
Navigate to Pylee Dashboard and sign in with your account
Browse Available Registries
Click on “Browse Registries” to see available community and private registries
Select a Registry
Choose a registry that matches your needs:
Activate Registry
Click “Activate” on your chosen registry. This will make all servers in the registry available to your applications
Configure Access
Set permissions for who can access the registry:
Community Registries
Pre-built collections maintained by Anthropic and the MCP community
Private Registries
Custom collections for your organization’s specific needs
Shared Registries
Once you have active registries, you can manage them from your dashboard:
Access Registry Settings
Go to Dashboard → Active Registries → Settings
Modify Permissions
Change who can access the registry servers
Enable/Disable Servers
Turn individual MCP servers on or off within the registry
Set Usage Limits
Configure rate limits and usage quotas if needed
If you no longer need a registry:
Deactivating a registry will immediately remove access to all MCP servers in that registry across all your applications.
After activating a registry, verify it’s working:
